Touch Taiwan 2025 will be held from April 16 to 18 on the 4th floor of Hall 1 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Realtek will showcase its next-generation BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) SoC low-power solution for Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL). This solution can also be integrated with Realtek's Wi-Fi IoT SoC and BLE low-power SoC to provide a complete connectivity solution for electronic shelf labels and ESL gateways.

Realtek's BLE low-power SoC—RTL8752H series—supports Bluetooth 5.3/2.4GHz and 15.4 protocols, meeting the diverse wireless communication requirements of ESL applications. With a power consumption of less than 1.6µA in deep sleep mode, the RTL8752H significantly extends battery life for ESLs. It features a built-in Cortex-M0+ processor with a maximum clock speed of 40MHz, 120KB of SRAM, and up to 8Mb of Flash, offering stable wireless connectivity and low-power performance—making it an ideal solution for electronic shelf labels.

In the second half of 2025, Realtek will launch its next-generation ESL solution—the RTL8762J series—which supports BLE 5.4 PAwR (Periodic Advertising with Responses), further enhancing ultra-low-power ESL applications.

The Ameba D+ (RTL8721D series) is Realtek's Wi-Fi IoT low-power solution, featuring outstanding low-power performance. It consumes only 12.2μA in deep sleep mode, significantly extending device battery life. Ameba D+ integrates a dual-core processor with clock speeds of up to 345MHz, delivering stable and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. It supports 802.11 a/b/g/n protocols, with data transmission speeds of up to 150Mbps.

As a highly integrated solution, Ameba D+ is suitable for a wide range of applications including smart home devices, wearables, and ESL gateways. It also offers flexible GPIO configuration and rich peripheral interfaces such as UART, SPI, and I2C, making it easy to integrate into various smart products.

Realtek's new generation of BLE SoC low-power ESL chips, combined with its Wi-Fi IoT low-power SoC, offers a comprehensive connectivity solution for ESL applications. Not only does it reduce power consumption and help customers develop reliable and competitive products, but it also brings significant carbon reduction benefits to the environment.
